This Norris of London coffin shaped A5 smoothing plane has ebonised beech infills fitted with a good length 'Norris, London' parallel cutting iron which is also marked 'Robt Sorby, Sheffield, England' on the rear of the cutter. The lever cap and brass knurled blade adjusting knob are also marked Norris London. The cap iron hasn't any markings.
